An 8 week container of learning, practice and true forgiveness.
Approaching forgiveness from the Christ Mind perspective, through the lens of IFS (Internal Family Systems).
Forgiveness can be a very muddied term, especially in spiritual and therapeutic communities. The idea of it in its contemporary definition can evoke feelings of pressure, shaming, bypassing and confusion.
In this eight week course we will initially turn the clocks back to the time of Jeshua and look into the original Aramaic word Wasboqlan, the word that has been handed down and shaped through many minds into the understanding of forgiveness we have today, as it is in relation to Christian teachings. Yet Washboqlan holds many possibilities in terms of meanings, and many of the scholars of today see things as quite different from the Greek and Latin scholars of the early and mid centuries.
This definition, or re-definition, is of great importance to us in our understanding of what forgiveness actually is and how then it might be cultivated in our minds and day to day lives.
Forgiveness is undoubtedly of great importance in both our spiritual journeys, and our therapeutic paths, and in this course we will explore the overlap between these perspectives and experiences.
We will bring into the frame of our understanding the therapeutic Model of IFS, exploring the role of forgiveness in the mind and practicing what it is to forgive in a mind that is fragmented and separate.
This course is part teaching, part learning, part exploring and experiencing and indeed experimental, as we use the group, each other, the space and the time, to discover the power of true forgiveness in our own minds and lives.
Course cost, 8 weeks online container, course materials, 8 live webcasts, all recordings in a specific website portal available for a year, private Facebook community group. £199 inclusive. Sliding price available if required.
