A journey of awakening through the body.
In this workshop we will be exploring the sense of touch and its relationship with the journey of awakening.
In its simplest form, the journey of awakening is a return to the knowing of our immediacy with God, aka Creation, Universal Life Force.
The simple recognition that there is Oneness in Creation, and that we are an integrated and immediate part of that.
It sounds easy enough, yet the actuality of it, as a felt experience, nurtured through every moment, is rare indeed.
Using tools and practices from Betty Martins ‘Wheel of Consent’, and interweaving the teachings and essences of Jeshua’s ‘Way of Mastery’ pathway, we will tease out the interconnectedness of touch, mind, soul and bring awareness to our capacity and ability to receive the Love of God, as a felt experience in the body.
What is it within us that stops the Reality of our oneness to be felt?
Bringing together the deep grounding of these somatic explorations and the Spiritual framework of Jeshua’s Way. Embracing our Humanity and our Divinity, in a simple and intentional way.
I have been a Pathway Teacher for Jeshua’s Way for 10 years, leading many online groups and in person retreats. Having studied ‘The Wheel of Consent for several years, and having recently completed the ‘Like a Pro’ in person retreat, I am excited to be synthesizing this work into a cohesive offering, where we can explore the nature of body, mind and spirit, whilst holding the intention for deeper harmony, knowing and integration. I also have a deep grounding in IFS therapy, and utilise this parts approach to the system of mind in all of my work.
For me the realisation of how I have come to block sensation, and the ways that this was so hidden from myself, and the relationship between those blocks, to the simplest of acts of receiving, mirrored so completely the ways in which I block love, life and God, blew me away.
And the journey starts again, from the depth of where I am into deeper and deeper realms of understanding and feeling.
